Our highschool is  participating in a Comenius programme
with a project titled: “Healthy lifestyle: comparing lifestyles
of students in Europe.” Our project acronym is C.L.O.S.E..
This project will last for two years. Six countries are taking
part in it: Austria, Denmark, Estonia, France, Ireland and Spain.

Our aim is to make students, families and the
community aware of the importance of living
a healthy life and motivate them to change
unhealthy habits.

During the first year, we are going to work
on our students’ eating habits: first, getting
to know them, later working on traditional
healthy food in each country. We are going
to compile a common cookery book.

In the second year, we’ll concentrate on our
students’ spare time activities, hobbies and
sports activities at school.

Students from the above mentioned countries
will get in touch through different ways: e-mails,
exchanging letters, e-twinning and Skype, etc...
Therefore, they’ll be forced to use English as the
language of communication. This practice will
bring them great profit.

Finally, we’d like to announce that a group
of teachers from all these countries will be
working on this project in our country
in November (12th-16th) and we will
wellcome them in our school
 on Monday, 14th  November.
